Supporters of Helping Hand for Relief and Development (HHRD) are encouraged to use this GivingTuesday to enable individuals living in severe poverty to choose a route to self-sufficiency through HHRD’s Skills Development and Livelihood Program (SDLP).
GivingTuesday encourages people to use the power of donating to make a difference in the world. In this regard, HHRD is addressing the requirements of breadwinners who carry the brunt of the financial burden of providing for their families.
Trainees obtain skillsets in courses ranging from computer training to needlework and much more at 26 Skills Development Centers (SDC) distributed across ten nations. HHRD is using the combined power of its donors and their communities to promote philanthropy and giving around the world.
GivingTuesday, which began in 2012, encourages individuals to do good. Over the last nine years, this notion has developed into a global movement, inspiring hundreds of millions of people to donate, collaborate, and celebrate generosity.
