Turkish-backed Syrian rebels abducts Twenty-five civilians

The Syrian rebels who have the strong backing of Turkey, has kidnapped 25 civilians in the north-eastern province of Hasakah on April 18.

Per the reports, all the twenty-five civilians were taken from their village of Ahras which lies in the countryside of the city of Ras al-Ayn, in the north-western countryside of Hasakah.

The reports added that the kidnapped civilians were taken to an unknown destination by the rebel group while their homes were looted by another group.

There has been no immediate comment from the Syrian rebel group or even from Turkey about the alleged incident.

Ras al-Ayn was captured from the Kurdish-led Syrian Democratic Forces by the Turkish forces and Turkey-backed rebel groups in October, 2019.
