A three phased strategy in Thailand has been chalked out to administer vaccines for COVID-19. The chief of the Disease Control Department has said that the first phase will cover 1 million people in vulnerable groups from February to April.
The second phase would see 26 million doses to administered to people in vulnerable groups nationwide in May and June
The third phase is set for later this year to early next year. This is intended to be a mass vaccination drive, involve vaccinating enough of the general population to develop herd immunity and stop the spread of Covid-19 at community level.
