Thailand Cabinet gives approval to holding special Parliament session

As protests intensify in Thailand, the Cabinet has agreed to hold a special session of the Parliament next week. 

A Cabinet meeting chaired by Prime Minister Prayut Chan-o-cha agreed to support a two-day sitting of the parliament from Oct 26,  Anucha Nakasai, minister for Prime Minister’s Office, told reporters in Bangkok. 

King Maha Vajiralongkorn needs to give the final approval for the same.
