Texans warned to brace for conditions due to Tropical Storm Beta

As Tropical Storm Beta lashed the coast with its outer bands, the Texans have been warned of bracing the tropical storm conditions.

One of several storms creating a record-breaking Atlantic hurricane season, Tropical Storm Beta is likely to make official landfall very late on September 21 or early on September 22.

‘Persons located within these areas should take all necessary actions to protect life and property from rising water and the potential for other dangerous conditions,” the National Hurricane Centre (NHC) said while urging the people from Port Aransas, Texas, to the Rockefeller Wildlife Refuge in Louisiana to take extra caution as a storm surge warning was in effect from those areas. However, it must be noted that Beta has already driven tropical storm conditions to parts of the south western Louisiana coast.
