The Democratic Republic of Congo will impose a curfew starting December 18 from 9 om to 5 am
DR Congo’s Communication Minister Jolino Makelele announced this among new measures, including schools closing earlier for the Christmas holidays, a ban on ceremonies before burials and a ban on public gatherings of more than 10 people
President Felix Tshisekedi had said earlier this week that the second wave of COVID-19 in the DRC is caused mainly by the importation of cases from foreign countries and the relaxation of preventive measures.
