Several nations pledge over $500 million for ensuring equitable access to COVID-19 tests, treatment and vaccines

The organisers of a French forum said that several nations and foundations across the world are set to pledge more than $500 million, in a move to ensure equitable access to Coronavirus tests, treatment and vaccines for all nations.

“France will be announcing a commitment of 100 million euros, Spain 50 million and the European Commission 100 million specifically for the vaccines part of ACT-A,” read a statement by organisers of the third edition of the Paris Peace Forum.

The Paris Peace Forum is being held in the French capital on November 11, 12 and is dedicated to find ways to ease and to fight against the Covid-19 pandemic. This comes when the Europe is witnessing rising number of COVID-19 cases.
