Rocket attack in southern Iraq, no claim of responsibility

Iraq’s oil field in the main southern city of the Burjesia area of Basra has been targeted by rockets on April 6.

Officials of the region has confirmed that a total of three rockets landed near the site of a foreign oil field. The authorities in charge of the investigation also commented that they found a rocket launcher nearby after the attack.

By far no one has claimed immediate responsibility for the attack.

No reports of major damage have come forward as a result of the rocket attack.

Investigations are underway to find the attackers behind it.
