PM Modi discusses COVID-19 situation with his Israeli counterpart

During a telephonic conversation that took place on Wednesday, June 10, between Prime Minister Mr. Narendra Modi and his Israeli counterpart Benjamin Netanyahu, the two leaders discussed the potential areas, including research and development efforts in the field of vaccines, in which the two nations can expand cooperation in the wake of the ongoing Coronavirus pandemic.

“Had an excellent conversation with my friend PM @netanyahu about how India-Israel can collaborate in the post-COVID world,” read the tweet by Prime Minister Mr. Modi. Adding further, he said, “India-Israel partnership will grow ever stronger in the days to come.”

“In particular, they assessed tremendous scope for expanding the already robust India-Israel collaboration in areas like health technology, agricultural innovation, defence-cooperation and information technology,” read an official statement.
