Parliamentary Elections held in Jordan

Parliamentary Elections were held in Jordan on November 10. Voters will elect 130 members of the lower house of parliament, with 15 seats reserved for women, nine for Christians and three for minority Chechens and Circassians.

The 15 seats for women are awarded to the woman who received the most votes (but fail to be elected on their list) in each of the twelve governorates and the three Badia district  More than 4.5 million Jordanians are eligible to vote in 23 constituencies.
