Overseas Chinese Association in Bangladesh extends hand of support to Bangladesh police

China after successfully tacking the spread of pandemic inside its border has recently been extending hands of support to nations struggling with the COVID-19 crisis, especially by supplying medical aids and kits.

So as to aid the Bangladesh Police in fighting the spread of COVID-19 in the nation, the Overseas Chinese Association in Bangladesh (OCAIB) has made donations of medical supplies including medical masks, medical protective clothing and testing reagents.

In a ceremony held in Dhaka, President of the Overseas Chinese Association in Bangladesh, Zhuang Lifeng handed over the medical supplies to Inspector General of Bangladesh Police, Mohammad Javed Patwary.

Zhuang Lifeng applauded the support provided by Bangladesh to China when the country was fighting the pandemic, and said that the overseas Chinese residing in Bangladesh cherish the bond of friendship shared by both nations.

Mohammad Javed Patwary in his speech said, “We are very much delighted and we feel honoured to receive such a token of our friendship. So far, China is the pioneer in fighting successfully against the fatal disease COVID-19.” He added that China has been a trusted friend, and they stand together to fight back the pandemic.
