Netherlands, Ireland suspend Astra Zeneca vaccine

Netherlands and Ireland have temporarily banned the use of Astra Zeneca vaccine against COVID-19 after reports of Norwegian Medicines Agency revealed serious blood clotting events in four adults who had the COVID jab.

In Holland, AstraZeneca’s jab, developed with Oxford University, will not be used there for at least two weeks.
