French President Emmanuel Macron will end his weeklong isolation after news came out on December 24 that he is free of COVID-19 symptoms.
Macron “shows no symptoms at this stage and the isolation of the President can therefore end after seven days”, a statement by the President office said.
Macron had remained in charge “of the main issues of current affairs of our country” during his self-isolation, and would continue to do so in the coming hours and days, it said.
