Luis Arce confirmed as the winner of Bolivian Presidential Elections

Luis Arce from the Movement Toward Socialism (MAS) has been officially confirmed as the winner of the 2020 Bolivian Presidential Elections. 

General elections were held in Bolivia on 18 October 2020 for President, Vice-President, and all seats in both the Senate and Chamber of Deputies. Luis Arce of the Movement for Socialism (MAS) party was elected president in a landslide winning 55% of the vote and securing majorities in both chambers of the Plurinational Legislative Assembly. 

 Carlos Meca of the Civic Community (Comunidad Ciudadana: CC) party and Luis Fernando Camacho of the “We Believe” (Creemos) coalition were the other contenders.
