Kim Jong Un hails DPRK’s success in handling COVID-19 crisis

The top leader of the Democratic People’s Republic of Korea (DPRK), Kim Jong Un, on Thursday, July 2, guided an enlarged Political Bureau meeting to take review of COVID-19 protection measures.

The first agenda item reviewed at the meeting was the work done in the past six months for prevention of the malignant contagious disease and also they discussed the issue on further consolidating the present anti-epidemic situation by enhancing the state emergency anti-epidemic work.

After reviewing the situation, the DPRK’s top leader, Kim said, that the country has thoroughly prevented the inroad of the malignant virus and maintained stable anti-epidemic situation” despite the worldwide health crisis. Calling it a “shining success” he hailed the efforts made by the Party leadership and a high sense of voluntary spirit of the people.
