Kenya will release funds and provide face masks to primary schools

On October 7, Education Cabinet Secretary George Magoha, while addressing at the Kisumu National Polytechnic, stated that the Kenyan the government already disbursed funds to run public primary schools. He added that they will also issue free face-mask to needy students and pupils. “The money should be in schools today or tomorrow,” he said. However, the amount of money allotted to the primary schools was not specified. 

Magoha announced that Sh13 billion has been disbursed for secondary schools. “As far as we are concerned the schools are going to get money,” he said.
