Jordan’s King Abdullah II and his half-brother Prince Hamzah bin Al Hussein made their first joint public appearance togrther after the dramatic events of the past few days.
Last few days saw high drama in the Jordan royal family when Prince Hamzah bin Hussein was allegedly arrested by authorities and placed under house arrest. The arrest was denied by authorities though Jordanian government officials accused the prince of trying to ferment instability using foreign assistance.

Hamzah joined members of the Jordanian Royal Family marking the centenary of the establishment of the Emirate of Transjordan, a British protectorate that preceded the kingdom. The royal palace released a photo and video with Abdullah and Hamzah joining other dignitaries at the grave of their father, the late King Hussein, and the late King Talal, their grandfather.
