Italy likely to prohibit people’s movement in high risk areas

As per the draft of a new decree on COVID-19 restrictions, Italy is likely to restrict people’s movement in designated high-risk areas. As per the draft, residents in the highest-risk zones will be given permission to leave only for specific business or health reasons while stores classified as non-essential, as well as bars and restaurants will be shut in those areas.

The country is also likely to witness curfew from 10 p.m. to 5 a.m. The national and regional authorities are still discussing the norms for the areas to be classified as high-risk zones.
