Internet ban on Myanmar imposed again

As protests continue in Myanmar against the military coup that overthrew the democratically elected government and seized power, the military Junita has imposed a ban on internet services again.

This came shortly after state-run MRTV said army chief Min Aung Hlaing enacted a new law telecommunications law.

Myanmar’s connectivity is now reduced  to 15 per cent of ordinary levels, according to UK-based monitoring group NetBlocks.
