Taranjit Singh Sandhu, India’s Ambassador to the United States, this week, discussed bilateral issues with US Treasury Secretary Steven Mnuchin and Health and Human Services Secretary Alex Azar.
Taking it to the micro-blogging site Twitter, Mr. Sandhu tweeted, “Productive discussion with Mnuchin on strong bilateral economic and financial partnership and initiatives to further increase two-way investments.”
For his talks with Alex Azar on October 5, the Ambassador said, “A fruitful conversation with Azar regarding deepening India-US health cooperation and ways to further strengthen critical supply chains partnership for bilateral and global good.”
The two sides also discussed upon the opportunities to deepen the economic partnership between India and the United States, said the Treasury in readout of the phone call, adding further that the two sides also discussed both countries’ economic outlook. Besides these, they also discussed cooperation on issues of money laundering and financing of terrorism.
