The Prime Minister of India, Mr. Narendra Modi will be delivering his virtual address at the UN General Assembly on September 26. This year, in the wake of the COVID-19 pandemic, the UN General Assembly is taking place virtually where almost all the world leaders are delivering their speeches in a pre-recorded video format.

PM Modi’s address is scheduled to take place at 6:30 pm IST. His speech is scheduled as first speaker before noon and will be aired at 9 am local time (New York) which is 6.30 pm in India.

Sources have said that at the ongoing 75th session of UN General Assembly, India will push for some of the priority issues, including for strengthening the global action against terrorism.
