Indian Prime Minister, Mr. Narendra Modi inaugurated the 125th Annual Session of Confederation of Indian Industries (CII) through video conference on June 2. The theme of the 125th Annual Session of Confederation of Indian Industries (CII) is “Building India for a New World: Lives, livelihood, growth”.
In his inaugural address, Prime Minister asserted his believe that India will definitely get its economic growth back as the government continues to pursue various reforms. He said that government of India has taken several stern measures to reduce the impact of the coronavirus pandemic and has subsequently been guarding the economy.
Speaking of the strength of human character that paves way out of difficulty, PM Modi said, “On the one hand, we have to take strict steps to fight this Virus and save the lives of the countrymen and on the other hand we have to stabilize the economy and speed it up.”
PM Modi asserted that intent, inclusion, investment, infrastructure and innovation are essential to bring back India to a high-growth trajectory.
“For us, reforms are not any random or scattered decisions. For us reforms are systemic, planned, integrated, inter-connected and futuristic progress”, PM Modi said.
Prime Minister Modi further asserted thar “for us reforms mean courage to take decisions and taking them to logical conclusion”.
