Indian PM woos global investors by showcasing recent agriculture and labour reforms

Saying that the government will do whatever it takes to make India the engine of global growth resurgence, Prime Minister Mr. Narendra Modi on November 5 showcased the recent agriculture and labour reforms and faster-than-anticipated reflating of the economy to woo the global investors.

“It is a strategy that aims to use the capabilities of our businesses and skills of our workers to make India a global manufacturing powerhouse, a strategy that aims to use our strength in technology to become the global centre for innovations, a strategy that aims to contribute to global development using our immense human resources, and their talents,” said PM Mr. Modi to 20 top global investors, adding that India’s quest to become “atmanirbhar” (self-reliant) is not just a vision and does not mean that the country is becoming a closed economy but rather it offers opportunities to be part of the India growth story.
