Impact of Globalisation on NAM

“Diversification and globalization are the keys to the future” -Fujio Mitarai

The countries in the world are grooming themselves with the neo liberal policies, which have made the market the place where the nations can develop and even can support the other nations of the world. The neo liberal world has given rise to globalization, which means world at global level where the market of anything can make a market for buying or selling good. The neo liberal policies are basically depended on various factors but the LPG model is the main backbone of this. This model is known as Liberalization, Privatization and Globalization and commonly known as LPG model. Globalization is the main factor behind the rapid urbanization and world economic policy. The growing integration into the world economy is called globalization. Discussions over the issue of the Millennium Development Goals are interlinked to the globalization.
Globalization is a complicated process, which has positive effects on many sides of socio-economic life. Globalization helps the nation in alleviating poverty by boosting economies of developing countries and reduces difference and inequality between peoples. As such, it should be stressed that globalization is not only significant to economies but also a form of exchanging culture and ideology with each other. The three models of globalization—trade, capital, and economic management—may not be the same in the future. Globalization is not just about changing relations between inside of the country and with the other countries of the world. This concept of the local producers and global consumers has coined a new term known as “Go- localization” which means world at local level. So the making of the goods and items are captured by the world at local level, which has also helped out the people from the small enterprises to make customers in the global market.
Non – Aligned world has attained a glimpse of success in the many cooperating countries with the emergence of the neo liberalism in the market. This market has shown us the way of the new and better relations with the countries of the Non – Aligned participating countries. The emergence of the globalization has raised the peace process in the world and has effectively supported the equality and fraternity between the citizens of the world. Human development index has raised their quality of the human life in the world because of the cooperation which is done from local to global world and helped the united nations bodies to work more effectively in the so called under developed countries and developing countries in the world.
Tax free trade has benefited the NAM cooperating countries and has boosted up their economy and even helped the economic policies and treaties of the NAM nations in economic dynamism by providing freedom, opportunity and prosperity that is benefiting every citizen. By breaking the cycle of poverty, free trade policies can enable even the most impoverished countries to begin to create their own dynamic toward prosperity. Since the aim of attaining MDG (Millennium Development Goals) and sustaining development is one of the important activities considered by NAM member countries facilitating ‘Tax Free Trade’ ensured future perspectives in achieving the same.
Due to globalization the problems related to health, education and women centric problems are jointly solved by the Non Align Countries coming together and helping each other. Although many great achievements have been recorded in human activities, the current world is coping with great challenges. That is the challenge of increasingly dependent economies and challenge of technologies in the knowledge-based development strategy. But the effects of the impact of the globalization has also hit down the world as the richer has became richer and poor is becoming more poor which is making the world to the side of the oppressors and the making the large world the oppressed class.
