This year’s Group of 20 Leaders’ Summit hosted by Saudi Arabia as the two-day conference came to an end on November 22. The organisers hailed the event calling it a success.
The final call during the event was made that included an offer of debt relief to the developing nations along with a commitment to ensuring equitable access to COVIID-19 treatments. The leaders of the G-20 nations said in the communique, “We underscore the urgent need to bring the spread of the virus under control.”
The call for coordinated response to COVID-19 pandemic reflected the struggles faced by various nations as infection count soared.
