China and France to engage in seventh China-France High-Level Economic and Financial Dialogue on July 21

In the wake of the coronavirus pandemic, several meetings and high-level talks have been either postponed or held virtually so as to bey the preventive measures put at place to help stem the spread of the coronavirus.

In lieu with the same spirit, the seventh China-France High-Level Economic and Financial Dialogue will be held via video link on July 21.

The news has been confirmed by a Chinese Foreign Ministry Spokesperson on July 20.

The China-France High-Level Economic and Financial Dialogue will be co-chaired by Chinese Vice Premier Hu Chunhua and French Minister of Economy and Finance Bruno Le Maire.

The information pertaining to the chairs of the meeting has been provided by Spokesperson Wang Wenbin at a regular press conference.

The China-France High-Level Economic and Financial Dialogue is an important step in keeping up the dialogic spirit between the countries and to strengthen their diplomatic ties. The China-France High-Level Economic and Financial Dialogue has been held annually since 2013.
