After analysis of the Coronavirus situations in the nations, the government of the United Kingdom on December 11 added Botswana and Saudi Arabia to its travel corridor list.
In a directive issued, the U.K. government said, “From 4am on Saturday 12 December 2020, passengers arriving to England from these destinations will no longer need to self-isolate so long as they haven’t been in or transited through any other non-exempt countries in the 14 days preceding their arrival.”
However, the travellers including those from destinations not included in the list, will have to provide a complete passenger locator form on arriving in the United Kingdom.
It must be noted that the lockdown in the country was lifted on December 2 and the government allowed non-essential travel to some international regions.
