Opposition politician Bobi Wine, who was also the key opponent of Yoweri Museveni in the recently concluded Uganda Presidential Polls has challenged the election of Museveni in a Ugandan Court.
Museveni won the Jan. 14 elections with 58% of the vote while Wine had 35%, according to final results announced last week by the electoral commission after accounting for results from nearly all polling stations.
Wine has alleged irregularities in the election. Wine tweeted on January 31: “ At the height of the most fraudulent election, after blocking observers, cutting off the internet and barring everyone except the EC from releasing results, @nbstv was at hand to assist the dictatorship relay cooked figures”
