Bangladesh gets medical supplies from China

In the latest of extending humanitarian assistance to the world facing the perils of the COVID-19 pandemic, China has provided Bangladesh with key medical aids.

The Inter Service Public Relations (ISPR) said that the Bangladesh Air Force (BAF) conducted a special ferry flight, to fetch COVID-19 preventive medical aids for the country from China on April 19.

The Inter Service Public Relations (ISPR) is the Defence Ministry Department and it said that the BAF C-130J transport aircraft, returned to Dhaka from China on April 19, with medical aids, including COVID-19 detection kits and personal protective equipment (PPE).

The Inter Service Public Relations (ISPR) added that the preventive medical aids consist of surgical masks, N95 face masks, protective gloves, electronic thermometers, medical safety glasses, PPE’s, goggles and testing kits.

The assignment of medical aids will help the country fight the crisis created as a result of the coronavirus.
